Police investigators looking into a homicide in Comstock have released their person of interest from custody.

MLive reports that 20-year-old Michael Rogers of Kalamazoo was found dead at the Comstock Village Apartments off Sprinkle Rd. on Sunday night.

Police at the scene did arrest one person in connection to the shooting. When Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Deputies submitted charges Tuesday, the prosecutor returned the case to them so it could be investigated more thoroughly.  Subsequently, their person of interest was released from the Kalamazoo County jail.

However, the investigation into Roger’s death is still active.  If you have any information, contact the KCSD or Silent Observer.
