Powerline Down On I-94 Causes Outages

A downed power line caused outages for thousands of Consumers Energy Customers this morning.

Power was lost around 6:30 a.m., when the pole fell across westbound I-94 in Emmett Township.  It’s not known what caused the pole to fall at this time.

Consumers Energy crews responded to the site and worked to get the power restored, with power returning to the majority of customers around 10:45 a.m.
