To prove how out of control this attack against American history is, and worse the attack of anything that may sound, smell, feel or seem racist, I give you ESPN.

According Sports Illustrated ESPN has decided to remove announcer Robert Lee from broadcasting University of Virginia football games because he shares a name with the famous Confederate general Robert E. Lee.

No joke.

ESPN issued a statement quoted in the Sports Illustrated article stating:

We collectively made the decision with Robert to switch games as the tragic events in Charlottesville were unfolding, simply because of the coincidence of his name. In that moment it felt right to all parties. It’s a shame that this is even a topic of conversation and we regret that who calls play by play for a football game has become an issue.

Do I really have to say anything more?

All sane and common sense people need to get a hold of this situation and let us concentrate on Making America Great Again.
