Now this story should make you laugh and frown at the same time.

The City of San Antonio voted last week to keep a Chick-fil-A franchise from opening a restaurant at the San Antonio International Airport.  The City Council voted to exclude Chick-fil-A because of what one council member called its “legacy of anti-LGBT behavior.”  They believe they are anti-LGBT because Chick-fil-A believes that marriage is between a man and a woman.

In a 6-4 vote, the council denied Chick-fil-A access to the airport. According to KTSA.com one City councilman Roberto Trevino, stated:

With this decision, the City Council reaffirmed the work our city has done to become a champion of equality and inclusion. San Antonio is a city full of compassion, and we do not have room in our public facilities for a business with a legacy of anti-LGBTQ behavior

Mr. Trevino then, without apparently understanding his own hypocrisy, stated:

Everyone has a place here, and everyone should feel welcome when they walk through our airport. I look forward to the announcement of a suitable replacement by Paradies.

“Everyone has a place here” apparently does not mean everyone to the six city council members who voted to not be inclusive.  The word "everyone" to them means if you believe what we believe.

They do not even realize that excluding people does not make you inclusive.  These six are 60% of the brains, and I use the term brains loosely with them, running the city of San Antonio.

God help San Antonio!
