The Battle Creek Police have found  5-year-old girl that has been reported missing by Child Protective Services.

A 5-year-old girl that was reported missing in Battle Creek was found safe and sound today. The Battle Creek Police was asked to assist Child Protective Services in the search for Haley Elswick on Tuesday. This afternoon, authorities were called to the home of Elswick’s grandfather, who had the girl in their possession. She was found in healthy and happy condition. Her mother, Cassandra Elswick, was not at the home.

Haley Elswick was reported missing by CPS in a court-ordered attempt for temporary custody. Authorities believe that Elswick may be with her mother, Cassandra Elswick. The vehicle is described as a two-toned Ford Explorer, green and tan in color, with the possible Michigan license plate DEH 4830.
