Search Warrant In Kalamazoo Turns Up Drugs, Gambling

Several people were arrested Thursday afternoon in Kalamazoo, after drugs and gambling were uncovered.

According to a release, Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers responded to the area of Krom and Clay St. Thursday, on reports of a fight.  As they arrived, they witnessed several subjects enter a home in the 1300 block of Krom, with the home showing signs of drug activity. A search warrant was obtained around 3pm, and served as police searched the home.

Inside, officers found seven subjects, a large amount of marijuana, and evidence of gambling like a casino-style dice table and cash.  All seven Kalamazoo residents at the scene were arrested, on various charges.
