Next week, Battle Creek residents will be able to dispose of a large amount of waste as a part of this year’s Spring Cleanup Week.

The City of Battle Creek says that from Monday, May 1 to Friday, May 5, on your usual trash/recycling pickup day, you can put out up to 10 cubic yards of construction waste on the curb at no extra cost, and Waste Management will pick it up. All materials have to be contained, and when appropriate in four-foot bundles. Items put out on the curb cannot weigh more than 50 pounds.

This event is for City of Battle Creek Residents only, and hazardous waste and treated lumber will not be accepted.
