Springfield Changes Polling Location Due To Expected High Turnout
A change in voting location will be affecting some heading to the polls in Springfield this November.
The City of Springfield says that due to the likelihood of high voter turnout for the midterm election, they will be moving the Precinct #2 voting location to the Public Safety building, located on Avenue A next to city hall. Michigan is expected to have record voter turnout for a non-presidential election next month, based on predictions made using current absentee ballot numbers; according to MLive, they are up over 50% from the 2014 election.
