Statewide Search Underway For Armed & Dangerous Fugitive

A statewide hunt is underway for Joshawa Vergason, a wanted fugitive.

According to ABC12,  23-year-old Joshawa Vergason is wanted for several crimes including, including aggravated assault, obstructing officers and assault on a K-9. he's believed to be armed and dangerous and was last seen in the Eaton County (southwest of Lansing) area Wednesday.

This fugitive could be travelling in multiple vehicles including a black truck, a motorcycle or a vintage car. That has made it a real challenge for police when they're dealing with the possibility of more than one vehicle.

Apparently, investigators found a bunch of guns in the Vergason's home and it's likely he has several with him.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call the police immediately. Do not try to approach this suspect if you see him.
