Strange Men and Clowns? Not in Richland!

Gull Lake High School and Middle School were put on lockdown Thursday morning after a rumor spread through the area.

Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies were investigating the rumor after a report of a man seen with a long-gun over his shoulder walking down D Avenue in Richland. There was also a rumor of clowns being in or around the school.

According to the sheriff’s department through NewsChannel 3, both rumors were unfounded. The school was released from lockdown around Noon and the school day continued normally.
