Suspect Sought in Canoe and Trailer Theft in St. Joseph County

It may be a few weeks after it happened, but the Michigan State Police is continuing to look for help in finding a trailer and canoe stolen during Memorial Day weekend.

Authorities from the Marshall post-White Pigeon detachment announced that they are looking for a newer black Ram pick-up truck that stole the items in broad daylight on May 30th. The heist took place on the 27000 block of Longnecker Road in St. Joseph County's Mendon Township around 3:30pm. The area is west of Leonidas and north of Mendon.

The trailer is 8-to-10 feet with wooden, removable sides. The canoe is green and 12-to-14 feet in length.
