Suspect Stabbed During Break-In

Sheriff’s Deputies say a Union City man is in the hospital with stab wounds after he broke into a home in Burlington Township this morning.

Deputies say they were called to the scene on 9 ½ Mile Road just after 3 a.m. when the four occupants woke up as the 26-year-old ex-boyfriend of one of the residents broke in.

One of the victims used a kitchen knife to drive the suspect off.  A K-9 team was unable to track the suspect due to heavy rain but he was eventually found on M-60 by State Police Troopers.
