Suspicious Fire Tamed in Albion Over The Weekend

Albion Public Safety responded to a fire Sunday morning that severely damaged a home.

The department was assisted by Sheridan Township firefighters on the 1000 block of Third Street around 4:30am, where flames were seen coming through the outside of the home. The damage was contained to the attic and exterior of the home.

No one was hurt from the fire. An estimated cost of damage has not been determined. Authorities have deemed the fire suspicious as the investigation continues.
