Allegan County Fair

After taking a few years off due to the Covid-19 pandemic the Michigan Alpaca Fest returns to the Allegan County fairgrounds this April.

A Plainwell teen is going viral for his dance moves at the Allegan County Fair 2022.

First held in 1852, the Allegan County Fair has brought some up and coming artist to Michigan before their big break. Highlights include Johnny Cash, Britney Spears, and Destiny's Child.

Whether you go for the fun of walking around and seeing everything, food, animals/livestock, shopping, entertainment, or rides a Michigan fairground will have something to offer everyone in the family. The following are upcoming summer 2022 fairs in the Southwest Michigan region.

The 170th annual Allegan County Fair runs Friday September 9 to Saturday September 17, 2022.

Following the announcement by the state of Michigan that outdoor activities and gatherings can return at 100% on July 1st, the Allegan County Fair today made its return official via social media. The fair, one of the largest in the midwest, is set for Sep. 10-18, 2021.

The Allegan County Fair has been canceled for just the second time in its 167-year history.
