Medical examiners in Kalamazoo this week are beginning to work on the case of a man found dead in the Kalamazoo River in Battle Creek.

Only sketchy information is available so far surrounding a body discovered this weekend in Emmett Township.

Family members tell us a man reported missing nearly two weeks ago has been located deceased.

Michigan State Police troopers were called at around 8:00 Wednesday morning to a location north of South Haven.

Police were called to Tigers Towing at 9:40 Monday morning after the vehicle’s owner discovered the victim.
