The Calhoun County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the theft of an ATV and trailer from the Ceresco area.

One of the main roads between Battle Creek and Marshall was shut down due to an accident Thursday afternoon.

A Calhoun County man is in custody and is expected to be charged soon, accused of pointing a shotgun at his wife during a domestic dispute.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says that they were called to A Dr. N near 14 mile Rd. in Marshall Township around 2:30am Monday, September 11 to find that a sedan and pickup truck had collided head-on. The sedan was on fire, and a 19-year-old passenger from Marshall was trapped inside.
