One of the feel good storylines of the Cubs' World Series victory was "Grandpa" David Ross. He had previously announced his retirement after the post season was over, and then in Game 7 he was thrust into the spotlight. And has stayed there in the aftermath.

It is now officially the off season in Major League Baseball with The Cubs winning the World Series last week.   When the team finally receives their rings in the spring, there maybe some guys you forgot about that may get rings.

Much of the talk around the Chicago Cubs World Series run revolves around nostalgia - easy to do when the team's last championship dates back to 1908.
