The Michigan State Police Marshall Post says that their officers were called to the intersection of Angola Rd. and Central Rd. in Branch County's Ovid Township around 5:06pm Thursday.

A Battle Creek woman was arrested on drunk driving charges after she reportedly drove her pickup truck into a power pole early Sunday morning.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says that around 9:36pm Sunday, a vehicle was heading west on R Dr. North in Clarence Township near Duck Lake when it left the road and crashed into a power pole.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says that deputies were searching the area of Michigan Ave. near Bedford Rd. in Bedford Township around 8:16pm Friday, for a suspect who was believed to have stolen electronics from a store in Marshall.

Calhoun County Sheriff’s deputies responded to East Michigan Avenue near Clark Street just before 11:30pm.

At around 10:15, Kalamazoo police officers were called to the 4400 block of Clayborne Drive

Just before 9pm Tuesday, Battle Creek Police Officers found a man pinned under a golf cart that turned onto its side at the Battle Creek Country Club. The 54-year-old told police that he had been attempting to drive to his home a short distance away.

Jury selection is set for Tuesday for Charles Pickett, Jr. Police say that in June 2016, he had been behind the wheel of his pickup truck while under the influence of drugs, before the truck crashed into a pack of bicyclists travelling on the shoulder of the road in Kalamazoo County’s Cooper Township.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office says that they responded to the 23,000 block of South County Line Rd. in Clarendon Township Tuesday night, and found a vehicle that crashed into a tree.

45-year-old Jeffery Crouse had been arrested last October after he crashed his car while off duty; he was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated and carrying a concealed weapon while under the influence.
