Man Dies In Armed Standoff With Kalamazoo Police Wednesday
Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Deputies originally went to the Pavilion Estates Mobile Home Park in Pavilion Township around noon Wednesday to talk with a couple parked in a vehicle, after the owner of a trailer said the two had been squatting on his property. When deputies approached, they say the man got out of the car and pulled out a gun, firing one shot into the air.

The incident happened around 11am Wednesday, where a delivery person was stopped at a gas station in the 6100 block of Stadium Dr. in Oshtemo Township. The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office says that a suspect approached the victim with a gun and demanded the cigarettes he was delivering.
