Former Kalamazoo Strong director Rachel Kaiser was sentenced on Monday to 24-months of probation, after she pleaded guilty to using a computer to commit a crime.
34-year-old Rachel Kaiser pleaded guilty Monday to one count of embezzlement of more than $1,000 but less than $20,000, and one count of using a computer to commit a crime. She was accused of stealing more than $4,000 from the organization for personal purchases.
The defense for 47-year-old Jason Dalton has been seeking to have some of his statements kept from trial, as they say they were made after Dalton told investigators he didn’t want to speak. Dalton is accused of killing six people and wounding two others in February 2016.
