The City of Battle Creek says that on Tuesday, July 16, the Battle Creek City Commission will hold a workshop at City Hall to discuss recreational pot legislation.
Deputies were called to the Leroy Township home to see the man physically assault a woman; he then barricaded himself inside the house and said he was armed.

At this time no contaminants have been identified, but some customers are experiencing discoloration in their water. Water samples have been taken for testing, and once test results have come back negative for anything harmful the advisory will be lifted after 24 hours.
