MacKenzie's Bakery

The long-awaited opening of Mackenzie's Bakery in Vicksburg is right around the corner. But first, they're hosting an open house.

A hearty slice of Struan bread, with a schmeer of real butter, and washing that down with a hot cup of coffee - does that evoke memories and some hunger pangs for you? There were a lot of sad people in Kalamazoo when MacKenzie's Bakery closed its doors late last year, but apparently in business, there is life after death

With that note it's safe to assume that both locations will be closing. Once nominated as one of the best bakeries in Kalamazoo, their closing has an affect on many other local shops.
