The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says that the body in the area of the 800 block of N. Prairie Ave. is that of 16-year-old Mujey Dumbuya, a high schooler from Grand Rapids.
Police in Kalamazoo are now investigating the suspicious circumstances surrounding a man’s disappearance. Information is described as “sketchy”, but authorities say they believe some kind of “altercation” might have led to William Gray’s disappearance December 29.

A special memorial run is set to be held next week to honor a Portage woman killed by her husband. The Kalamazoo Area Runners announced that the run will take place Wednesday to remember Theresa Lockhart, who was an active member of the running nonprofit.
