The town of Plattsburgh, New York celebrates 'Michigan Month' the entire month of July. The celebration honors a Michigan food tradition, coney dogs.

What Michiganders refer to as a coney dog, Plattsburgh, NY residents call a Michigan. Both hot dogs are reminiscent of the classic Detroit dog featuring chili, onions, and mustard.
