A few years ago when the Right-to-Work battle was raging in Michigan the opponents of giving people the right to work here in Michigan were foretelling of a doomed Michigan if we were to pass the Right-to-Work legislation.
Well those opponents were wrong...
What is the definition of right-to-work when considered as a government policy? It simply means that a person has the right to work at any place of employment without being forced to join a union as a condition of their employment...

The Michigan Supreme Court has ruled that Michigan's right-to-work laws, which prohibit requiring employees to join a union or pay a union fee, also apply to state employees.
Since 1990, almost all of the top 10 job growth states are right to work states. Compare that to all most all of the lowest job growth states are non right to work states.
Is this just a coincidence?
