Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer says as of midnight she’s pulling back most of her unilateral COVID-19 control measures. The state’s residents and businesses have endured nearly a year and a half of mask orders and severe limits on personal activity and mobility.

Grand Valley is telling students they should only leave home for things like attending classes or to get food or medicine. The university also says it's okay for them to go to a job, or to work out.

Agencies and departments are ordered to get tough including pulling business licenses and ordering immediate closings.
