The Tubes’ Fee Waybill and Guiding Light’s Robert Newman at the Barn
The Barn Theatre opens its 72nd season with Frank Wildhorn’s musical extravaganza playing one week only, June 5th through the 10th. The show is reminiscent of Ken Burns' acclaimed documentaries and puts a human face on the greatest tragedy of American history.
Waybill is no stranger to live audiences and full stage productions. "The Tubes" have always been a rock band with all the bells and whistles. But he's also ventured into movies, TV and live theater. He's done the Barn Theatre production of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" many times, and was also in "Spamalot" there. Newman spent many years in front of a camera, but has spent the last few years in live theatre, around the country and performing in several Barn productions, including "A Lion in Winter".
Both men were guests on the 95.3 WBCK Morning Show with Tim Collins.

JUNE 12 -JUNE 17 – ONE WEEK ONLY! NOISES OFF. One of the funniest farces ever written, Noises Off is a roller coaster, hilarious look at theatre - inside and out - as a hapless troupe of actors attempt to mount the dreadful comedy. Yet, the show must go on; despite the catastrophe being played out on stage and the vicious antics unfolding backstage. Starring Robert Newman and Penelope Alex. PG-13 – Some adult language.
