Three Men Accused Of Assault In Springfield

Calhoun County Sheriff’s investigators could identify more suspects after three men were nabbed last week.

Authorities were tipped off by a female victim that was held at a home on Greenbriar Lane in Springfield the morning of January 15th. Authorities learned that the victim was held against her will and threatened with a gun while captured on video.

Authorities responded later in the day and identified three men at the home while executing a search warrant. Suspected marijuana, prescription pills and firearms were seized in the search, along with a cell phone that had the assault of the victim.

The men, 24, 22 and 20 years old, are expected to be charged on multiple counts.
