Thanksgiving wouldn't be Thanksgiving without the turkey. But there are other sides and desserts that complete this traditional meal, and those dishes vary from state to state. Whether it's green bean casserole (with the cream of mushroom soup and crispy onions on top - yum!), or one of your uncle's signature pumpkin pies, we won't be satisfied until we get that heaping helping of our favorite holiday side.

MSN.com released a list of the favorite Thanksgiving recipe in every state, and the top spot in Michigan went to... Creamy Cranberry Salad, sometimes known as Cranberry Fluff Salad. Though recipes vary from cook to cook, it seems there are several ingredients that no decent Creamy Cranberry Salad can be without: frozen cranberries, canned pineapple, and marshmallows. Some recipes incorporate all ingredients, while others recommend layering the ingredients for maximum effect. So, what do you think, Michiganders? Is Creamy Cranberry Fluff the side dish we just can't live without?
