Several different districts will be voting on various proposals Tuesday in Calhoun County.

Calhoun County Deputy Clerk of Elections Teri Loew says that among those things being voted on include a Road Millage Proposal in Fredonia Township, and a Capital Equipment Millage Proposal in the Marshall Area Fire Fighters Ambulance Authority.

School districts within Calhoun County have proposals as well; K-RESA voters will be voting on the renewal of their Regional Enhancement Millage, Jackson ISD citizens will be voting on a renewal proposal for a Special Education Millage, and those in the Pennfield School District are voting on a Bond Proposal.

Polls open at 7am and close at 8pm; it’s important to note that several precincts have been combined for this election only, so for more information go to co.calhoun.mi.us.
