Vets Day Brings VA Restructuring Announcement

Just in time for Veteran's Day observances across the country, the head of the VA has announced he would like to see a restructuring of the department, including the dismissal of about 1000 people from the administration. Fox News reported on the plan, as did other media on Monday.

As well, the Detroit Free Press offered an editorial in its Tuesday edition, discussing how Michigan and Governor Snyder are attempting to raise the state's standing in its treatment of veterans.
