Meet Shorty - this week's Wiggly Tail Wednesday pet of the week from the Humane Society of South Central Michigan in Battle Creek.

Shorty lives up to the Wiggly Tail name - his tail is always wiggly! He's energetic, friendly and loving - and ready for a new home.

He's an adventurous guy, ready to check out his surroundings. Shorty will likely require a fenced in yard, A dog-to-dog match-up will be necessary if you already have a dog in your home.

Shorty has the stature of a Basset Hound and the coloring of a Rottweiler - but when you look at him, you see a lot of different characteristics.
