Even if you are not already registered to vote – you may be able to get in on the decisions today. Thanks to Proposal 3 approved last year you can still register today.

You need to handle your same day registration in person with your local municipal clerk, not at your precinct.

Proposal 3 which was approved by Michigan voters last year is responsible for the new change. It also allows for straight party voting.

In order to register today you need to be a resident of your precinct for at least 30 days before the election. You also need to be a citizen of the USA and at least 18 years of age and have a recognized photo ID. You can find more details here.
