Albion Man Shot In Early Morning Hours

A man showed up at the hospital in Albion Sunday morning with gunshot wounds, a short time after police were called on shots fired.

Authorities responded to the 800 block of N Monroe St. around 4am Sunday, on reports of shots fired.  At the scene, they didn't find anyone, but did find two running vehicles, one of them with blood stains.

A short time later, a man showed up to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his head. Investigators believe that all those involved in the shooting knew each other, and an altercation had taken place. The gunshot victim was treated and released.
