High School Football Game of the Night – Gull Lake at Battle Creek Central

Week 6 is upon us and for three area teams the postseason ticket could get punched this week.

With many teams statewide that are sitting at 5-0 or 4-0 with eight games schedules, this week can set up their potential November schedule in the Michigan High School Athletic Association 11-man football playoffs. One Battle Creek school and two others in the area are at the undefeated mark and also state-ranked heading into this week's contests.

Our Game of the Night this week takes back to downtown Battle Creek for homecoming, as the Battle Creek Central Bearcats take on the Gull Lake Blue Devils in Southwest Michigan Athletic Conference action in the East Division.

All city and area schools are in action tonight, and for the first time this season, they are all playing on Friday.
