Kellogg’s announced Thursday that they plan to open a regional service center in Grand Rapids within the next six-to-eight months, and that could mean job losses in Battle Creek.  The new Grand Rapids facility is expected to have between 300 and 600 employees when it becomes fully operational in 2016, and some of those workers will be moved from the Battle Creek headquarters. Kellogg is currently involved in a four year effort to restructure and cut seven percent of its workforce.
