Following a recent trend, two students have been arrested after making threats against Marshall High School.

A parent located photos of two subjects posing with firearms and threatening the school and its students on Wednesday.  The parent told the principal, who contacted police.  After identification, the suspects were arrested at their homes without incident, and charges are now pending for making a terrorist threat and using the internet to commit a crime.

As a precaution, all Marshall Public Schools, including the Shamrock Center, will be closed today (March 31, 2016).

This threat comes just days after both Harper Creek Schools and the Lakeview School District were shut down due to bomb threats Monday, both of which turned out not to be credible.  One student was arrested in the Harper Creek incident.
