Mild temperatures and snow melt are helping to create some foggy conditions in parts of southwest Michigan Wednesday morning. Motorists are likely to find areas of patchy, dense fog in their early travels.

The National Weather Service forecast also suggests potential for fog exists on Wednesday evening.

Mild temperatures still prevail, with 40's and 50's for daytime highs through the weekend. A gradual cool down is predicted for next week, with temperatures falling back into the 40's and mid-to-upper 30's.

Other forecasting authorities have backed off predictions for high temperatures all month at 40 or above, but after those mid-to-upper 30's next week, some predict another rebound to the 40's and 50's.
