Police Raid Suspected Drug Houses

Police in Battle Creek have been busy the past two days serving warrants at suspected drug houses.

Officers from the Special Investigations Unit, Gang Unit, and Emergency Response Team raided a house on Maplegrove Avenue Tuesday night at around 8:30.

Drugs and cash were seized.  Police searched a home on Ludwig Street yesterday morning at about 10:30, turning up more drugs and money.

Investigators say they’ll be asking the Prosecutors Office for arrest warrants.
