Rain Comes Back to Battle Creek

Rain has returned to Battle Creek, with light showers all around the area as folks woke up Thursday morning. The National Weather Service forecast for Battle Creek actually shows a diminishing chance for rain as the day goes on Thursday.

Friday promises to be a sunnier day. The weekend brings with it more chances for scattered thundershowers. High temperatures are expected to be in the upper 70's.

Forecasters have backed off on predictions for low-to-mid 80's high temperatures for the first part of next week, now saying we can expect upper 70's for highs most days. Later in the week, warmer temperatures are expected.
