Suspect Captured Following Breaking and Entering

The Battle Creek Police responded to a call of a Breaking and Entering in the 100 Block of North Brewer Drive, Wednesday afternoon.

The investigation led to locating the suspect in the area of Van Buren Street and McCamily Avenue. The suspect was still in possession of property related to the break-in and was taken into custody.

Because of similarities of the breaking and entering to others that occurred in the same area last week, the suspect was turned over to the Detective Bureau for further investigation.

Investigators also searched a hotel room in the first block of Division Street for any other potential evidence.
