A deputy responding to a burglary call collided with an 11-year-old boy driving a compact two wheel motorbike on Michigan Ave. near Lennon St. in Battle Creek.
Around 11:30pm Thursday, Calhoun County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 900 block of W. Goguac St. on reports of subjects smoking pot inside a vehicle, as well as a noise violation.
At this time no contaminants have been identified, but some customers are experiencing discoloration in their water. Water samples have been taken for testing, and once test results have come back negative for anything harmful the advisory will be lifted after 24 hours.
