If you're a golfer, you know how it can be: one round up, next round down. Or even one hole is great, and the next one? Not so much.

As a novice golfer myself, I've noticed so much of the game takes place in our heads. That is to say, our mental outlook - or what may be distracting it - influences how well we play.

Now let's consider Tiger Woods. Ever since his personal problems came to the forefront, his game has never been the same. He apparently has pulled out of the Ryder Cup, and some reports are even using the "R" word when it comes to Tiger: Retirement. Here's a Bleacher Report update on the news:
