Two people were hurt yesterday when a truck crashed in Albion Township.

The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office reports that the driver, a 24-year-old Albion man, was arguing with his passenger, a 23-year-old male relative, and the distraction led to the crash.

The truck went off the road and hit a tree stump in a ditch.

The driver suffered minor injuries; the passenger was airlifted to Kalamazoo with injuries to his head, spine and legs.
