Winter weather will be here in full force starting tonight and into Tuesday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Calhoun, Eaton, Branch, Barry and Jackson counties starting a 7pm Monday night (January 11th) and ending at 7pm Tuesday night. Areas under the advisory could see one-to-three inches of accumulated snow during the overnight hours, with the potential of one-to-two more inches during the day Tuesday. Winds will also increase on Tuesday, putting wind chills at just below zero.

A Winter Storm Warning will take effect at 7pm Monday night for Kalamazoo and St. Joseph counties and last until 7pm Tuesday night. Those two counties could see three-to-six inches of snow during the overnight with another three-to-six inches during the day Tuesday. Winds will also be a factor.
