WMU Buys Hanger For College Of Aviation
Western Michigan University’s Board of Trustees unanimously approved a purchase at WK Kellogg Airport in Battle Creek for their College of Aviation.
The board met this week to buy an aircraft hanger for the university that includes a long-term land lease with the City of Battle Creek.
Western will purchase the hanger for 400-thousand dollars.
The additional hanger space will be used for instruction, lab equipment and aircraft to expand Western’s aircraft maintenance program.
