A Charitable Gift of Gold
An anonymous donor in suburban Detroit has dropped more than $6,000 into a Salvation Army kettle. Salvation Army of Livingtson County commanding officer Maj. Prezza Morrison says a cadet was ringing her bell for donations on December 8th, outside of a Walmart in Genoa Township. A man there dropped four gold pesos, valued at $1,212 each and a bold bar valued at $1,249, into a kettle.
