Attack and Robbery in Battle Creek Latest in String of Similar Cases

Police in Battle Creek are hunting for three suspects after an armed robbery last night.  The victim was walking in the area of Union Street and Sherman shortly after 11 when three men attacked him and hit him in the head with a pistol.  The victim’s wallet and cellphone were stolen and the robbers ran off.  Police say the circumstances of the robbery match two others from last month involving three black male suspects.
