Get your Cornhole team registered and ready for the Battle of the Bags!

The Arc of Calhoun County Executive Director Leah Ortiz and board member "Mac" McCullough joined Tim Collins on the 95.3 WBCK Morning Show to talk about how the organization serves the community.   Ortiz says the Arc of Calhoun County has been around since 1954, to advocate for individuals and families in our community with intellectual and physical disabilities.  The Arc provides a voice for them, as well as real on-the-job opportunities.

Ortiz says the Arc is looking to fill a few open positions for Job Coaches.   These are 32-35 hour per week, full-time jobs.  Job coaches need to have a driver's license, since they would be driving Arc vehicles to and from work sites and volunteer sites within the community.  Ortiz says they are looking for three individuals to serve as Job Coaches in their Monday through Thursday program.  You can find an application here.

The Arc is sponsoring their first-ever "Battle of the Bags and Food Truck Rally" on Saturday, September 22nd, from 2pm-6pm at Bailey Park.  Cost is $40 per team, but there's a $500 cash prize for the winning team.  Register here.
