Battle of the Bots, Michigan

Students from across the globe will be making their way to Detroit, this April, to pit their robots against rival, student engineers. According to the Detroit News, with help from a University of Michigan initiative, Michigan’s Engineering Zone will be hosting their first championship, a global robotics convention, on April 25^th through 29^th. Around 90 of the 400 teams hail from Michigan. As many Detroit high schools don’t have the resources to support a robotics team, UoM has stepped in with support, providing workstations, equipment and a cadre of mentors. The Michigan Engineering Zone also offers students assistance on college applications and financial aid.
